Description
The Predator is a boss encountered in Intermediate Mode, Expert Mode, and Endless Mode, debuting on Waves 29 for the first two and 35 for the latter respectively. He has an extremely high amount of health coupled with an average walkspeed, and is immune to normal forms of stunning. Additionally, he is the first enemy encountered to be able to damage and kill towers, and can decimate an unprepared defense.
In addition to his normal appearances, he appears in Chapter IV. He also appears in Halloween II Nightmare, Part 1 of the Frosty's Invasion Event, and Christmas II Nightmare, acting as a supporting threat along to the other bosses alongside him. Lastly, he appeared in the old version of Expert Mode, debuting on Wave 30.
Upon being defeated, he will emit a cry before falling to the ground.
Appearance
The Predator has a light green skin color, wears a pair of dark blue jeans, a pair of black boots, and has multiple cybernetic parts on his upper right side. The right side of his torso is clad in black plating and he dons a red helmet with an irregular jaw and a single neon orange eye in his center. Additionally, he has a neon orange core in the center of his chest, which is connected to his torso by a trio of yellow wires. Lastly, his right arm appears to be mostly or entirely cybernetic, being entirely clad in red plating and having a six-chambered, double barreled revolver-like firing mechanism at his end.

Strategies
- Several 5-X Operators and 5-X Missile Troopers should be adequate in taking him out in Intermediate Mode.
- In Expert Mode, several 5-X Laser Gunners protected by numerous baits should be adequate in dealing with them.
- In Endless Mode, heavy splash damage towers such as bottom path XWM Turret and/or Warship coupled with high DPS towers such as X-5 Juggernaut, X-5 Railgunner, and/or 5-X XWM Turret should make quick work of them.
- In Part 1 of the Frosty's Invasion Event, using many of the aforementioned strategies should work, though it is important to be careful of the Snow Predators behind him.
- In Christmas II Nightmare, several maxed Medics can be used to mitigate the damage from the horde of Predators that spawn.
- The Predator’s abilities can be baited by placing numerous cheap towers such as Ranger or John.
- High range towers such as Sniper and Railgunner can kill the Predator from afar, where they cannot be targeted.
- Stealthed towers such as 4-X+ Sniper, 3-X+ Ghost, and towers stealthed by X-4+ Ghost’s Ghost Grenade cannot be detected by the Predator, and thus will not be at risk of being damaged or killed.
- The Predator can be frozen with at least 3 X-5 Cryo Blasters.
Trivia
- The time it takes for the Predator to be able to use his first Triple Shot lines up with the “Kill them all!” heard from his theme Zombieosis.
- The achievement in game for killing the Predator for the first time is “[REDACTED] Down!”, which omits the Predator’s name.
- This is likely due to the term "predator" having another much more inappropriate meaning, though it was likely done as a joke as the achievement for killing 10 Predators is simply called "Predator Knock Down!".
- The Predator has the most appearances across gamemodes, being in 3 main gamemodes as well as appearing in 4 other parts of events (or 6 other gamemodes).
- The Predator is the first enemy with Damage Falloff.
