Description

The Operator is a single target semi-auto firing unit that is able to summon different kinds of vehicles on its Bottom Path. When compared to the Ranger, it boasts more DPS, is more cost efficient, and is granted Stun Immunity on its Bottom Path, but it lacks Splash Damage and the ability to Ignore Bullet Resistance. It is a better alternative for beginners than the Ranger, due to its higher Health and ability being able to take care of enemies that leak past your defenses while helping it with stronger enemies.

Upgrades

Its Top Path grants it Stealth Detection and more DPS, and is way less expensive than its Bottom Path. It is great for dealing with stealthed enemies in Easy Mode and Elite Mode, but it will tend to struggle with armored enemies like Armored Heavy Zombie+ and Super Heavy Zombie in Intermediate Mode.

Its Bottom Path is a lot more expensive than its Top Path, with the max upgrade costing 30k. It is given a Burst Size like the Ranger and has Stun Immunity, but lacks Stealth Detection and has less DPS and Range. However, it makes up to this with its ability to spawn in vehicles. These vehicles include the Jeep on X-3, Humvee on X-4, and LAV-25 on X-5. It loses the Jeep on X-5, but this is made up for with the LAV-25.

Strategies

• It is recommended to focus on the Bottom Path for early game (because the first 4 levels of this path have more DPS than the Top Path). Make sure that you have stealth detection. If you don't have any, you should get a level 3 Top Path (3-X) or use other towers with stealth detection before stealth zombies come out.
• If you are not focusing on DPS or you are just supporting the team, it is recommended to get 1 or 2 level 5 Bottom Path (X-5) due to it's great work dealing with zombie leaks thanks to the Humvee unit that spawns.
• Using Operator with Grenadier in Elite Mode is great for early game defense, because of the Slaw's explosive resistance and the hordes of enemies.

Trivia

• Upon a victory, Operator will do The Carlton Dance from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.
• The "Humvee Spawn" ability is based off of Enforcer's SWAT van ability from Tower Defense Simulator.
• 9This is the only other tower in the game to have an unit share an name with another (The other being Armored Factory's Humvee)
