Description

The Fanatic is an enemy that appears in the The Awakened Invasion. It can only be spawned by the Heretic and his nightmare variant. It serves as a meatshield with heavy resistances and the ability to heal nearby enemies 50 HP per second.

Appearance

The Fanatic wears a purple robe and pants and has bit of the robe covering its face. It has light purple skin and also has a purplish-gray mask with crying pink glowing eyes. a black frown with a bottom partially covered by the bit of robe.

Abilities

Ability	Description
Praise	Passively emits purple plus symbols and a purple energy wave, healing nearby enemies 50.
	Initial Cooldown: 0.60-0.80s	Cooldown: 1s

Strategies

• Despite featuring 50% melee resistance, their low health pool means that X-5 John's attacks and abilities make short work of them.
• Other forms of AOE DPS and direct DPS may not be as effective due to the resistances and horde nature of Fanatic summons but still can be explored, if John is not an option.
