Description

The Snow Predator is a boss that debuts on Wave 18 in XMAS Nightmare, both modes of Part 1 of the Frosty's Invasion Event, Wave 7 on Christmas II, and Wave 8 on Christmas II Nightmare. Like the Predator, it shoots from its right arm cannon to kill towers. The Snow Predator's attacks, however, can freeze towers to prevent them from attacking for a short while.

Appearance

The Snow Predator is a recolored version of the Predator, recolored with a blue and white color palette.

Ability	Description
Sleet Shot	Fires at the most expensive tower, freezing it and dealing 750.
	Initial Cooldown: 11s	Cooldown: 15s
Thrice-Ice	Fires three shots at random towers, with each shot freezing and dealing 275.
	Initial Cooldown: 5s	Cooldown: 12s

Ability	Description
Cold Demeanor	Does not target towers with non-ability attacks.
Sleet Shot	Fires at the tower with the highest health, freezing it and dealing 600.
Thrice-Ice	Fires three shots at random towers, with each shot freezing and dealing 250.

Strategies

• To prevent the Snow Predator from freezing and killing any towers, it is recommended to spam baits, particularly Johns, so it will not target important towers.
  • Even without baits, its attacks are negligible by themselves as it can only focus on a few towers, likely with a large amount of health, with the rest able to kill them.
  • However, if the Snow Predator is assisting some other boss (including another copy of itself), then it's a bigger issue as its freezing abilities leave towers vulnerable to die and it serves as a meat shield.
• Alone, the Snow Predator can easily be shredded by Juggernauts, bottom path Railgunners, Golden Juggernaut, and other high damage or DPS towers. In XMAS Nightmare, there should be an abundance of the aforementioned towers by Wave 18 and especially the last wave.
• Towers frozen by the Snow Predator cannot be unstunned, so it is recommended to either sell the tower in question or wait for it to thaw out.
• On Christmas II Nightmare, many upgraded, high-end, and late-game towers like XWM Turret or Golden Juggernaut are recommended to kill the horde of Snow Predators.
  • Medic is not as effective due to its vulnerability to being frozen, but it does help to mitigate damage.

Trivia

• The Snow Predator is the first boss to lack a theme, and is also currently the only boss to not show a health bar at the top of the screen.
  • However, the Snow Predator still shares most attributes of a boss, such as Stun Immunity and Toxic Blast resistance.
• The Snow Predator is the only boss unable to be cloned by Multiplier X.
  • Originally, it was able to be cloned by Multiplier X, but because it was often used by players to make XMAS Nightmare easier by cloning the Snow Predator rather than Nightmare Exo Santa, it was removed.
