Description
The Specter is an enemy appearing in Elite Mode and Endless Mode, debuting on Waves 29 and 27 respectively. Though he has low durability and speed, he spawns many tanky enemies with a low cooldown and can quickly overwhelm defenses if not dealt with immediately.
Appearance
The Specter is a humanoid wearing a dark orange lab coat with an X on its left breast. He also wears black shoes with orange accents. Three glowing orange canisters are attached to his shoulders, and his arms are replaced with long pairs of cannons below the shoulders. He has a black bird-like pointed mask with two horizontal red slits for eyes.

Strategies
- Due to how late the Specter spawns, defenses should be enough to take out the Specter.
- A few lategame DPS towers like 2-3+ Golden Juggernauts with supports should be able to take out the Specter and the enemies he summons.
- Setting towers to Last can take out the Specter quicker, preventing him from building up an overwhelming amount of zombies.
- Since the Specter launches his grenades a considerable distance on the track, placing towers behind the front line can catch any leaking zombies that he spawns.
