Unlike other enemies which spawn from the entrance of the map, the Avatar drops in from above, spawning about midway through the path. It is not to be ignored, as it has high health and shield and can end the game without sufficient backline defenses.
Upon spawning, it will crash onto the ground and get up. Additionally, upon being defeated, it will flop forward onto the ground.
Appearance
The Avatar is entirely clad in green plating and lacks a torso, instead having its head directly affixed to its waist, with its shoulders and arms mounted on top. Additionally, its head has a hole inside revealing six glowing red lights. Its arms extend from the top of its head and sharply turn downward. As for its arsenal, its weapons are attached at the end of its upper arms, with the left arm having a 2x3 missile pod and the right having a double-barreled rocket launcher.

Strategies
A few midgame DPS towers placed near the back can deal with the Avatar. Such options include 5-2 Ghost and Railgunner.
Towers with high range are better as they are more likely to be able to kill the Avatar while still being able to defend the front lime.
Spawner towers like the Armored Factory can be used due to their high map coverage, though it is important to note its 30% Collision Resistance.
Towers naturally close to the back line such as Farms and spawner towers should be placed near the exit of the map to minimize the chance of them being targeted and destroyed by the Avatar.
Alternatively, baits can be used to prevent it from attacking them.
