Description

The Avatar-R is a damaging enemy encountered in Nightmare Mode and Ultra Nightmare Mode, debuting on Wave 31 and 30 respectively.

It is an upgraded version of the original Avatar, having a higher amount of health and shield as well as some Laser and Golden resistance. Additionally, it is armed with a pair of railguns, allowing it to take out stronger towers that might pose a threat to it.

Appearance

The Avatar-R is largely a recolor of its predecessor, now having gray armor as well as orange eyes as opposed to red. However, it also bears several additional features, including slightly bulkier armor, dark markings across its face, and a pair of white "X" marks emblazoned on its shoulders.

As for its weapons, the Avatar-R wields a pair of long, dark gray railguns that fire blue lasers.

Abilities

Ability	Description
Tactical Drop	Falls from the sky onto a further section of the path (between 20-50% of the map's total length).
	Usage Criteria: Upon spawning in
Bi-Beam	Shoots both of its cannons at a random tower, dealing 4,000 damage.
	Initial Cooldown: 4s	Cooldown: 20s

Strategies

• Any strategies for the Avatar should also work for the Avatar-R due to their similar stats.
  • Note that the Avatar-R has more relevant resistances and substantially higher health and shield than the Avatar.
• Medic or Shield Tower can help negate or nullify any damage the Avatar-R inflicts on towers.
• If one hasn't done so already, setting up backline defenses helps to kill the Avatar-R before it can inflict major damage on the defense.
