Description

The Tree is an enemy that appears on wave 10 of XMAS. It is has decently high health and is extremely fast. It also always appears stealthed, making it a threat to an unprepared defense.

It also makes an appearance on Wave 14 of Christmas I Nightmare with heavily boosted shield, serving as a distraction from the Eradidogs that spawn in.

Appearance

The Tree is a humanoid made out of pine wood. Its main body is that of the leaves of a pine tree, and a single red eye sticks out of the darkness.

Strategies

• Due to the Tree only being stealthed, towers that can detect stealth such as 2-2 Laser Gunners or even an X-3 Juggernaut are required to defeat it.
  • On wave 12 of XMAS, a few more stealth-detecting towers (or the same towers but upgraded) will be required due to more Treesspawning.
• Multiple Scouts from the Barracks can help in defeating the Tree as they can collide with them and it is likely the Tree will run past most of your other towers.
• In Christmas I Nightmare, the Tree requires stealth detection to defeat; but it otherwise does not require specialised defenses.

Trivia

• The Tree is the first enemy in TDX to never appear unstealthed by natural means.
