Overview
Finality is one of the five Nightmare Mode exclusive maps, created by Archmaestros, and players can only play Nightmare Mode and Ultra Nightmare Mode on it. The map is made unique by the 4 interactable pillars on it, the purpose of which is to activate the Secret Wave. It is also the longest map that is exclusive to Nightmare Mode and Ultra Nightmare Mode.
Design
Finality is a large Calamity themed map that houses multiple Calamity entities on its left and right side. Finality appears to be a type of Calamity factory. The map is made up of dark wood and stone and is surrounded by reddish-orange lava, huge monoliths, arm structures coming out of the lava, and, above all, a massive object in the sky, marked with the Calamity symbol, which seems to be held up by a hand structure. Scattered around the map are many different statues, platforms, pillars with Calamity symbols, artificial trees, and buildings, as well as glass frames containing a few particular objects, such as a skull and what appears to be an Eradicator visor. The entrance is the same blue and black portal and the exit is one of the buildings, instead with a much larger entrance than the rest. On top of the exit are 2 Gatling Sentries.
Strategies
- Spawner towers and any towers with a large amount of range, such as Railgunner, Helicopter and Combat Drone, thrive on this map due to its extremely long path, allowing them to make full use of their range.
- Towers with shorter ranges perform most optimally at the entrance and in the loop near the back.
- Be wary that placing most defenses at the back will lead to slower win times.

Trivia
- The map's design is inspired by Destiny 2, specifically the layouts of the pyramids ship which include the pine trees, items covered in a thick transparent material, and the material of the structures.
- If The Secret Wave is triggered and completed, Finality will instead reward the player
1,320, 46,700 XP and
500. - Finality is currently the only non-event map that can be directly interacted with (not including event maps with bases that can be healed, such as Ragnarok and Fortress Snowlyn) in the form of the strange pillars.
